{As you know, I have suspicions that Prime Minister Tony Blair may be the future antichrist. How did I draw that conclusion? Here are a few identifying signs.
He rules a member country that is part of a world body believed to be the New Roman Empire (future kingdom of the antichrist-Daniel 2; 8:25).
He is the number one candidate to head up the E.U. as their first permanent leader. Again, this federation is believed to be the future kingdom of the antichrist.
When introducing a Middle East peace plan, he stated that peace between Israel and Palestine is the key to achieving world peace. I believe when he becomes the prime minister of the E.U. this will be his top priority.
Tony Blair has a great relationship with the U.S. and is seen as a friend to Israel. He is on a very short list of Israeli allies, and with the backing of the U.S. and E.U., he could bridge the gap.
The last form of world government is said to comprise of two very powerful entities in which one will rule over the other (Revelation 17). The dominant power will be very wealthy and militarily strong. The kingdom of the antichrist will also be strong and will tolerate the ruling power until the time is right to betray her.
Over the years, the U.S. has been the architect of many peace initiatives in the Middle East. As the lone superpower they will continue to attempt to bring peace to the region. But because of their war on terrorism and subsequent military action on Arab nations they will be deemed untrustworthy and bias toward Israel. This will prove to be the open door for someone else to come in the bring peace to the region. The E.U. is a strong financial supporter of the Palestine and imports a tremendous amount of goods from Israel. He (antichrist) may bring them in as member nations as part of the peace agreement. This would give both instant world recognition and the security of a world power.
The antichrist will be a present political figure that will head up a very powerful group of nations. His kingdom will be in partnership with the U.S., but will submit to her authority as the whole world has. But as outlined above, the U.S. will not be trusted to bring about a fair deal to the Arabs. {A cashless society seems quite appealing due to present times. But all to startling is this article found in Readers Digest, November, 1976, Coming Soon: Electronic Money" by Ronald Schiller. In this article he explains all the benefits of the cashless society. His closing paragraph is the most startling: "In this new totally electronic age, the enforcement of financial obligations will present few difficulties, since failure to pay up could be disastrous. The culprit might even be forced to undergo what Electronic Fund Transfer men call ‘plastic surgery’--the cutting off of his bank cards. Economically speaking, this would make him a non-person." If there is no cash, and if an individual’s right to trade is suspended by putting a hold on his account in a computer system, this article says that person would economically become a non-person. This sounds startlingly like Revelation chapter 13--without the number a person will not be permitted to buy or sell! If an individual’s ability to buy and sell could be suspended for not paying his bills, could it also be suspended for refusing to embrace the New World Order and its conflict resolving one-world religion?!} http://www.calvaryprophecy.com/666.html
